Coupon & Reward Policy

1. Overview

Qadam rewards families that collectively meet weekly activity targets with exciting shopping coupons. These are real coupon codes that can be redeemed at participating grocery and retail stores. The goal is to incentivise healthy daily habits with meaningful, practical value for Indian households.

2. Who Is Eligible?

• Any active family group on Qadam with at least 2 members is eligible to participate in the weekly reward programme.
• All family members must have their Qadam account in good standing (not suspended or restricted).
• The family group must be active during the reward week to qualify.
• Members who have been removed from or left a family mid-week do not contribute to the family's total for that week.

3. Step Targets & Reward Tiers

Each family runs on a rolling 28-day cycle made up of four one-week windows. Each week is scored on its own and can earn its own coupon.

Every member has their own daily step target, set by their age, so a 60-year-old and a 25-year-old can each reach 100% of their own goal. A member's weekly progress is the steps they logged, counted onlyup to their own daily target, divided by that target multiplied by the number of days available to them in that week.

The family's weekly progress is the average of every member's percentage. Each member counts equally, whatever their target. Steps walked beyond a member's daily target still appear in their own step history but do not raise the family's score — the family moves forward when everyone walks, not when one person walks a great deal.

Steps count towards the family only once they have been loggedin the app.

₹50 Coupon — Full Week (100%)

• The family's weekly progress reaches 100% or more of the weekly target.

₹25 Coupon — Partial Week (70–99%)

• The family's weekly progress reaches 70–99% of the weekly target.

If the family's weekly progress is below 70%, no coupon is awarded for that week. Missing one week does not affect the next — every week starts fresh.

A member who joins partway through a week is measured only on the days remaining after they joined, and a member who joins after a week has ended is not counted in that week at all.

Note: Only one reward tier is awarded per family per week, based on the highest tier reached.

4. Weekly Reward Cycle

• Each family's cycle runs for 28 days, evaluated in four one-week windows, starting from the date the family was created or the previous cycle ended.
• Reward eligibility is calculated and made available within the app at the end of each week (days 7, 14, 21 and 28).
• Each family may earn a maximum of one coupon per week — up to four coupons across a 28-day cycle.
• A coupon must be claimed within 10 days of the week closing. After that it expires and cannot be claimed.
• Unclaimed rewards from a previous week do not carry forward. Each week is evaluated independently.

5. How to Claim Your Reward

1. At the end of each qualifying week, the Family Admin will see a "Claim Reward" notification within the Qadam app.
2. The Family Admin taps "Claim" and selects their preferred store from the available partner stores.
3. The unique coupon code is displayed on-screen within the app.
4. The Family Admin shares the code with family members if they wish to use it together.
5. The coupon can then be used during checkout at the selected store (online or in-store, subject to the store's own terms).

The reward must be claimed within 10 days of the week closing. A coupon that has not been claimed within that window expires and cannot be recovered. This claim deadline is separate from how long a code stays valid once it has been issued (see section 7).

Only the Family Admin can claim the weekly reward. If the Family Admin account is inactive or unavailable, please contact support@qadam.in.

6. Participating Stores

The Family Admin may choose one of our partner stores at the time of claiming. Once selected, the choice cannot be changed for that week's reward. The list of participating stores is available within the Qadam app and is subject to change.

We will notify users via in-app notice if any store is added or removed from the programme.

7. Coupon Terms & Validity

• Each coupon code is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
• Coupon codes are for single use only. Each code can be redeemed once.
• Coupon codes are for personal use only and may not be sold, transferred, or exchanged for cash.
• The minimum order value and specific redemption conditions are set by the individual partner store and are subject to change at the store's discretion.
• Qadam is not responsible for the policies, terms, or availability of the participating stores.
• Expired or unused coupons cannot be reissued or replaced.

8. Reward Availability

Coupon availability is subject to pool capacity. While we strive to ensure coupons are always available for qualifying families, reward availability may be limited during high-demand periods. If a coupon cannot be issued due to technical limitations, we will notify the Family Admin and endeavour to resolve the issue within 7 business days.

9. Fraud & Misuse

Qadam has zero tolerance for fraudulent activity related to the reward programme. The following actions will result in immediate account suspensionand permanent disqualification from all rewards:

• Artificially inflating step counts by any means (mechanical device, automation, shaking the phone, etc.).
• Creating multiple accounts to manipulate reward eligibility.
• Sharing coupon codes publicly or reselling them.
• Any other conduct designed to exploit or game the reward system.

We reserve the right to void any reward and take appropriate action, including account termination, if we detect or reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.

10. Modifications to the Reward Programme

Qadam reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the reward programme at any time, with or without prior notice. This includes changes to:

• Step targets and eligibility criteria.
• Coupon values (₹25 / ₹50).
• Participating store partners.
• The reward cycle or frequency.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes via in-app notifications.

11. Tax Implications

Coupon rewards may be subject to applicable Indian tax laws. Users are individually responsible for any tax obligations arising from rewards received. Qadam does not provide tax advice.
